Kensington Doll House Festival

Kensington Doll House Festival

On saturday I gave myself a busmans day off and  went to the Dolls House Festival at Kensington Town Hall, London.
Around 175 craftsmen were exhibiting their dolls houses and miniatures and 95% of these crafts are handmade by the people who sell them.
I went on the search for miniature props for my dolls, backdrops for photos, and other things I couldn't resist.
I got very distracted from my mission, every stall had something wonderfull and charming and some so tiny it was incredible and the houses!. I could of easily gone around the venue a second time but my 75 year old mother Brenda was getting tired. Amongst my finds I bought, miniature print fabric, miniature William Morris wallpaper sheets, beautiful lace, a tiny fishing net,a leather bound bible for my nun doll, and wait for it, a miniature paint board and paintbrush for my Frida Kahlo doll!
